COVID-19 cases surge to 7,385

NAHARLAGUN, Sept 20: With 135 fresh COVID-19 positive cases reported on Sunay, Arunachal Pradesh tally surged to 7,385 with 1,964 active, 5,408 recoveries and 13 deaths, state surveillance officer Dr L Jampa said.

The district-wise reported cases are: ICR-69 [19 from TRIHMS, 14 from Itanagar paid quarantine testing centre, 9 from Banderdewa check gate, 9 from RKMH, 9 from Lekhi SQF, 6 from Zoo area CCC-SOA & 3 from Niba Hospital, tested by RDT-Ag(51) & RT-PCR(18)]; West Kameng-18 (11 from Rupa CHC, 4 military personnel from Dahung MH & 3 from Bhalukpong check gate, tested by RDT-Ag); West Siang-14 (11 returnees from Assam, ICR & Uttar Pradesh, 2 military personnel from QF & 1 primary contact of positive case detected earlier, tested by RDT-Ag); Papum Pare-9 (8 from Gumto check gate & 1 from Hollongi check gate, tested by RDT-Ag); Longding-6 (2 returnees from Kerala, 2 HCWs, 1 IRBn person & 1 from Kanubari CHC, tested by RDT-Ag); Leparada-3 (2 primary contacts of positive case detected earlier, 1 from Basar township, tested by RDT-Ag); East Kameng-3 (returnees from ICR & Assam from check gate, tested by RDT-Ag); Lower Siang-3 (2 from Seren township & 1 returnee from Assam, tested by RDT-Ag); Pakke-Kesang-3 [2 from PHC Baliso & 1 of Pakke Kessang from TRIHMS, tested by RDT-Ag(2) & RT-PCR(1)]; Changlang-2 (student & labour, tested by RDT-Ag); Tirap-2 (returnees from ICR from check gate, tested by RDT-Ag); Tawang-1 (military person from QF); Lower Dibang Valley-1 (Assam  returnee from check gate, tested by RDT-Ag); Kurung Kumey-1 (from Sangram CHC, tested by RDT-Ag), Dr Jampa added.
