Arunachal COVID-19 figure crosses 9,000

NAHARLAGUN, Sept 27: Rising trend of COVID-19 pushed its total to 9,004 in Arunachal Pradesh with identification of 135 fresh cases, state surveillance officer Dr L Jampa said, adding the data included 2,495 active cases, 6,495 recoveries and 14 deaths so far.

The district-wise reported cases are: ICR-62 (18 from TRIHMS flu clinic, 14 from Itanagar paid quarantine testing centre, 10 from CCC-SOA testing centre, 9 from RKMH flu clinic, 6 from Banderdewa check gate & 5 from Lekhi SQF testing centre, tested by RDT-Ag); Kra-Daadi-18 (police personnel returnees from ICR, tested by RDT-Ag); West Siang-13 [8 ITBP personnel from QF, 4 returnees from Bihar & Assam, 1 from Aalo GH flu clinic, tested by RDT-Ag(12), True Nat(1)]; East Siang-8 (5 primary contacts of positive case detected earlier, 1 returnee from ICR, 1 from check gate, 1 from Sille PHC flu clinic, tested by RDT-Ag); Lower Siang-7 (from Likabali township, tested by RDT-Ag); Papum Pare-6 (5 from Gumto check gate & 1 from Hollongi check gate, tested by RDT-Ag); Kurung Kumey-4 (returnees from ICR, Ziro & Joram, tested by RDT-Ag); Upper Subansiri-3 (from Daporijo DH flu clinic, tested by RDT-Ag); Longding-2 (returnees from ICR, tested by RDT-Ag); Tawang-2 (from, -Tawang DH flu clinic, tested by RDT-Ag); Namsai-2 (returnees from ICR & Changlang, tested by RDT-Ag); Tirap-2 (from Khonsa GH flu clinic, tested by RDT-Ag); Anjaw-2 (GREF labourers from QF, tested by RDT-Ag); West Kameng-1 (from Bhalukpong check gate, tested by RDT-Ag); Changlang1 (from Miao township, tested by RDT-Ag); Lower Subansiri-1 (returnee from ICR, tested by RDT-Ag) and Lohit-1 (from Tezu township, tested by RDT-Ag), Dr Jampa added.

However, COVID-19 pandemic infected 33,186,572 people, killed 1,000,395 and 24,508,964 had recovered globally till 5 pm on Sunday, according to worldometer.
