People from all walks of life throng to bid adieu to Tarh Kunia

NAHARLAGUN, Oct 17: People from all walks of life on Saturday bade adieu to Tarh Kunia, who breathed his last on Friday morning in a city hospital, in his last journey.

Seppa MLA Tapuk Taku, AAPSU president Hawa Bagang, executive members from Tarh Welfare Society (TWS), members and executive members from Arunachal Chambers of Commerce & Industries (ACC&I), Naharlagun Bazar Welfare Committee (NBWC), several senior government officers and leaders from various political party attended the last rites of Late Kunia which was held at his residence at G Extension on Saturday afternoon.

The TWS in a condolence message has expressed its deep shock over the demise of its prominent clan member; former executive member and Ex- Councillor -cum –Standing Committee IMC Late Tarh Kunia of Naharlagun after prolong illness, a release said.

“His untimely passing away is great irreparable lost for the TWS in particular and for the state in general. Tarh Welfare Society, pray to almighty God for granting eternal peace of the departed soul and comfort the bereaved family at this critical juncture,” the release added.
