ITANAGAR, Oct 19: The state Government has announced a one-day state mourning on Tuesday for former Minister Tsering Tashi, who died here on Thursday last.
“The Government of Arunachal Pradesh has decided to observe one-day state mourning on 20th October as a mark of respect to the soul of former Minister late Tsering Tashi,” an official statement said.
During the state mourning, the national flag will fly at half mast throughout the state and government offices where it is flown regularly, it said.
Meanwhile, the officers and staff members of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) condoled the demise of the former Minister and observed two minute silence to pay respect to the late leader. (DIPR)
