Rededicate to ensure BJP’s victory in ensuing local body polls: Maj

ZIRO, Nov 22:  Making a fervent appeal to leaders and workers to rededicate thems for strengthening of ruling BJP at the grassroots, Lower Subansiri district new BJP in-charge Likha Maj on Sunday said that would ensure victory in ensuing local body polls.

Addressing a party meeting here, he assured to strengthen the party. There could be difference of opinions among the leaders, but there will be no compromise with discipline and ideology for making the party stronger, he said.

Announcing to hold more such coordination meeting every three-month for the party leaders, he said that maintaining strict discipline and adhering ideology key to making BJP stronger. He also advocated that all should work voluntarily for victory of the party in the state, this district in particular, Maj added.

BJP vice president Nani Laiji said that the party has reviewed its activities in 19 assembly constituencies where its candidates are not available. However, in-charges have been appointed, who have to monitor and oversee the party activities for success, he said.

Lower Subansiri district, having two cabinet ministers, is privileged and should ensure 100% victory of party candidates, he added.

People are enthusiastic or upcoming local body polls, Upper Subansiri district BJP in-charge Kuru Tai said, adding large numbers of other party leaders are joining BJP for which there are many claimants for party tickets, but issue of tickets would not be a problem.

Today’s youths should not be only slogan boy but involve in policy making process for proper development in all sector, national Yuva Morcha secretary Nani Opo said and exhorted  youth to take a pivotal role in the society.

Elaborating party activates, policy and programmes, district president Liha Togu said an action plan would be drawn involving party leaders to strengthen the party for desired result.
