4 burglars nabbed with mobiles, camera, laptop & LPG cylinder

NAHARLAGUN, Dec 28: Doimukh Police nabbed four  habitual burglars and recovered mobile phones, camera, laptop and LPG cylinder, police sources informed.

A written complaint was received from Dorjee Tsering of Huto village, Doimukh on November 19  about some miscreants entering his house  between 2 pm to 3:30 pm and stealing  away Rs 50,000 cash along with four smart phones. A case was registered and endorsed to SI Niri Rama for investigation, police sources said.

SI Ram, during the investigation, apprehended one Nabam Topu alias Tagin of Ompuli, who is also a habitual mobile snatcher. He confessed his involvement in the instant case and the police team recovered one iPhone XR, one Samsung Note 10 lite, one Oppo F7, One Oppo Reno, one Itel and one Mi POCO handsets from his possession.

Moreover, during further course of investigation, Topu disclosed names of his accomplices. Thus. A team led by Doimukh PS OC Insp Inya Ete, SIs Rama and Nabam Tate under close supervision of Papumpare (Rural) SP Dr. Neelam Nega and, District Doimukh SDPO Bomken Basar arrested three habitual offenders and drug addicts.

They are Nabam Ako, 19,  of Tigdo village; Ralo Rath, 24, of NEEPCO Colony and Bir Sonar, 24, of North Lakhimpur, Narayanpur district in Assam.

The team recovered one HP laptop and one mobile handset, one Lenovo laptop, one Canon camera and one LPG cylinder in connection with two different cases  of Doimukh PS.
