MENGIO, Jan 24: Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) vice chairperson Heyomai Towsikadvised all newly elected women panchayat leaders to be self-reliant and use their powers and functions in true spirit instead of being ere spectators.
Addressing a day-long legal awareness, organised by Mengio Ane Acham in collaboration with APSCW) at Sakiang on Sunday, she spoke on various schemes and measures for welfare of womenfolk and advised them to create conducive atmosphere at home to lead peaceful life.
