Wahge highlights party activities in national meet

NEW DELHI, Feb 21: A day-long national office bearers, state presidents, general secretaries (Organization) and state in-charges meeting of BJP was held here on Sunday which, was presided by party president J P Nadda.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the inaugural session as principal “Marg Darshak” and addressed the meeting.

Beside, Modi, the meeting was also addressed by party’s national general secretary (Organisation) B L Santhosh.

The meeting discussed future plan and programmes of the party including the ensuing elections in five states. The party is fully prepared for elections in the states and is confident of winning in all, a communiqué informed here.

State BJP president Biyuram Wahge and secretary (organisation) Ananta Narayan Mishra, represented the state in the meeting.

In his presentation Wahge deliberated on the various activities and progammes carried out by the party in the state in the last one year.

The activities carried out by the state unit of the party ranged from Covid-19 pandemic related activities to managing of panchayats and urban local bodies elections in the state.

Reporting on the organizational aspect of the party, Mishra gave the detail of the organizational status of the party as of now in the state.

Later, Wahge along with Mishra presented the copy of Annual Report 2020-21 to the party president, the communiqué added.
