BOMDILA, Mar 05: West Kameng deputy commissioner Karma Leki on Friday chaired a meeting of the District Task Force (DTF) on Routine Immunization, Intensified Mission Indradhanus (IMI) and Covid-19 at his office here.
District Medical Officer Dr Dondu Wange in his presentation informed that the West Kameng district has achieved routine immunization coverage of 95 percent while that of full immunization is 91 so far.
The DMO also expressed concerns over the low turnout ratio of health workers to get the second dose of COvid-19 vaccine.
“The process of vaccine is incomplete if anyone fails to take the second dose”, he said.
DC Leki urged the ASHAs and Anganwadi workers to cooperate with the health department to achieve 100 percent immunization target and make available the Covid-19 vaccines to all the beneficiaries.
Administrative officers, medical officers’ in-charge and officials of the ICDS and PHE attended the meeting.
