Workshop on intra-state grid connectivity held

ITANAGAR, Dec 28: A Workshop on “Intra-State Connectivity to State Grid” was organised by the Arunachal Pradesh State Load Despatch Centre (APSLDC) under the power department, here on Tuesday.

The resource person of the workshop was Nangkong Perme, Head of APSLDC and Superintending Engineer (E) SO & PSC.

Advisor to power and hydropower Balo Raja  graced the occasion as the Chief Guest in the inaugural session of the workshop.

Rokom Bado, CE (P) Transmission, Planning and Monitoring, Pura Tupe CE of hydro power, J Kamdak CE DHPD, Along Ketan CE DHPD, Marki Loya, Director APEDA, Toko Anuj CMD Hydro Power Development Corporation of AP (HPDCAP), Hage Mima Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh State Regulatory Commission (APSERC) were among others who attended the programme.

As many as 81 engineers took part in the workshop which aimed at sensitising all the stake holders in state’s power sector about connecting new electrical system to the State Grid as per various central and state regulations through interactive power point presentation and open forum discussions.

Speaking on the occasion, Raja stressed on the need to follow all regulatory provisions and obey the instructions of the State Load Despatch Centre in the matters of Grid System Operation.

He also stressed on the need to work dedicatedly and selflessly as a team to carry forward mandate upon them for the betterment of the power sector and for the benefit to the mass and the growth of the state.

Raja encouraged the engineers to work keeping in view of the goodness of the future without worrying about whether others will like it or not.

“What is good for the future must be initiated right from here and leave a very distinct foot print behind so that younger generations can follow them,” he said.
