BJP adopts resolution for separate IAS cadre

  • Decision taken at Pakke-Kessang district party meeting: Wahge

LEMMI, Dec 30: State unit of BJP President Biyuram Wahge Thursday attended the Pakke-Kessang district-level executive meeting with the district Mandal workers and BJP members.

Speaking to the reporters, Wahge said the meeting was part of the party work which is being organised after every three or four months in every district of the state.

He, however, said that a resolution to have the state’s own state IAS cadre was taken as a resolution during the meeting.

“Unlike every party meeting, the national party resolution is being discussed and adopted during the district executive meeting. But the only difference today was to have its own state IAS cadre, as always highlighted by Chief Minister Pema Khandu on its importance and need,” he said.

He also said Veo and Debia Golo villages have completely adorned saffron colour of the party.

“There is a mass attraction of the people towards the BJP. Now, there are not a single opposition party members or workers in both the villages,” he added.

Wahge also appealed to the opposition party and other organisations to look into the various developments made during the BJP government in the state despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

“People or any party claiming that the BJP has not made any development works in the state should know about the progress of Greenfield Airfield at Hollongi, tunnel in Tawang, road construction work, improvement in the health sector,” he added.

Likha Maj said a resolution was taken to reach out to every single household in the district to create awareness on party development activities under Khandu, state policies and schemes etc.

He said within the next month party workers would initiate the movement.
