CM inaugurates many project, assures time bound completion

ITANAGAR, Jan 15:  Chief Minister Pema Khandu on a two-day visit during January 12 & 13 to Thrizino-Buragaon assembly constituency inaugurated at least 31 infrastructure projects –  7 at Bhalukpong and rest at Thrizino.

Addressing the gathering, Kahndu said that he has been touring every district for last three months to know the ground realities and lauded local MLA Kumsi Sidisow for successfully completing infrastructure projects sanctioned by the state Govt due to cooperation of local denizens and proper supervision of local MLA.

While speaking on 17-km Palizli t-Thrizino road condition, he said that the road has been taken under Chief Minister Comprehensive Road Scheme (CMCRS) and tender process completed, plants, machinery are in the ground and work would begin soon. Eery project has a timeline which would be ensured by the state Govt, he emphatically said.

MLA Sidisow, in his address, informed that 16 more infrastructure projects are likely to be inaugurated soon. However, he announced that there was no compromise on work quality in any project as the executing agencies were given strict direction. He assured to complete Palizi -Thrizino road by 2024.

The projects are: circuit house, strengthening of helipad at Bhalukpong;  Tezpur guest house; circle office& guest house  at Doimara; inspection bungalow & Choe Ling Gonpa at Sessa;  ADC office, Govt HS school, circuit house & PHC building at Thrizino; Subu school building; inspection bungalows at Bichom, Palizi, Khuppi, Jamiri, Wanghoo & Palatari; general ground with rostrum at Wanghoo, Buragaon secondary school building; Jamiri  BCT road to Buragaon; PMGSYroad from Singchung to Tseringpam; water supply of NEC at Jamiri CO HQs & adjoining villages; augmentation of water supply of RIDF at Buragaon EAC HQs; augmentation of water supply of JJM at Palizi and adjoining villages; Wanghoo tribal culture centre building; multipurpose irrigation-cum-water conservation project at Kaya Valley and others.

MLAs Phurpa Tsering (Dirang) & Dorjee Wangdi Khrama (Khalaktang ) were present,  among other dignitaries.
