Wiser to be an eagle, not raven

By Pradeep Kumar

Raven is the only bird that dares to peck an eagle. It sits on the eagle’s back and bites its neck. However, the eagle doesn’t respond or fight with the raven. It does not waste time or energy but opens its wings and flies higher in the sky. An eagle can fly at a height of 10,000 to 15000 feet above the earth’s surface where oxygen presence is less. The higher the flight, the harder it is for the raven to breathe. The raven eventually falls due to lack of oxygen.

This gives a lesson that all battles need not be fought back or all arguments or critics need not be answered back. The easiest way is to lift own standard high to force the opposition to fall off.

The enemies or ‘so called ravens’ may sit on our back and bite our neck. It is advisable to not waste time with the ‘ravens’ around us, but to take them to our height for them to fade away. We should remember that “the race we are running is not for the swift, nor the battle to be strong neither the route to be wise, nor to be men of skill, but to play a right-mind game against ‘ravens’

God may take us to the height where it would be difficult for the ravens/enemies to peck on us in god’s name. Who knows, this inspiring anecdote about eagle & raven might stir many troubled psyche to offer much desired relief!
