ASTE Prusty chosen for Railway award

ITANAGAR, May 14: The Railway Ministry confers annual national awards to very few selected good doers of all railway divisions across India prompting all to work with commitment.

A high level committee after assessing performances for the year concerned, record to the ministry, a high level railway officer told this daily.

Five employees of East Cost Railway Zone, including assistant signal and telecommunication engineer (ASTE) Deepak Kumar Prusty, have been zeroed down for this award, according to a notification by the Railway Ministry on Saturday, a copy of which was made available to this daily.

Congratulations poured in from friends and colleagues for life time achievement of Prusty, who had joined railway in 1999, while working in Arunachal Pradesh.
