ITANAGAR, Dec 01: A 28-member team from the state including, 24 players took part in the 55th senior national Kho-Kho championship in Maharashtra, informed Kho Kho Association of Arunachal Pradesh (KKAAP) Secretary General Puto Bui on Thursday.
The event was held at Tulaja Bhavani district at Chatrapati Shivaji Stadium, from November 20 to 24 last.
It is a national level competition among the states, union territories in which state team also participated.
The team including, 12 male players, was led by Manager Kalyan Kumar Dan and Matuni Padung (Coach) and 12 women players led by Yayi Jamoh (Manager) and Koyam Langkam as Coach respectively.
On November 15, the state team were formally flagged off at Dibrugarh Railway Station.
The team returned back on November 28 and all the members were given away with the certificate of participation by the Kho kho federation of India (KKFI).
