Sona lauds ‘My Home India’ for hoisting NESt Fest to showcase vibrant NE cultures

NEW DELHI, Sept 17: Arunachal Assembly Speaker P. D. Sona, addressing valedictory function of North East students in National Capital Region (NESt) festival at Talkatora Stadium here as chief guest on Saturday, lauded organizer “My Home India,” a voluntary organization, for showcasing the vibrant cultures and talents of eight Northeastern states to the rest of the India.

As the NESt Fest recorded largest gathering of over 10,000 enthusiastic students, Sona commended the organization for its invaluable efforts in promoting cross-cultural understanding and unity between Northeast states and the rest of the country.

This event not only serves as a platform for showcasing the rich diversity of NE India, but also fosters meaningful connections between individuals from across India and the Northeast, effectively encapsulating the essence of ‘My Home India’, Sona said with assertion and advocated for continuation of such events, emphasizing their significance in nurturing and supporting the student community.
