ABKYW holds stir, reiterates demands

ITANAGAR, Dec 03: The Adi Bane Kebang youth wing (ABKYW) on Sunday staged a peaceful dharna at College  of Horticulture & Forestry (CHF) and the College of Agriculture (CoA) in East Siang district.

Its demands included 80% job reservation for APST candidates in group-A and B posts, 100% reservation for APST candidates in group-C and D posts, 50% seat reservation of total intake capacity for APST students and recruitment should be conducted in college campus.

“The youth wing would continue democratic movement till all demands are not addressed by the authority concerned.  We have been submitting representation to deans of both institutes since January 20, but there is no response so far,” its chairman Gige Pertin said.
