APSTS surpasses revenue target

 

ITANAGAR | Apr 06 | Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Service (APSTS) has surpassed its revenue target of Rs 15.03 crore with a collection of  Rs 16.25 crore by a hike of 108 %  for 2016-17 fiscal.

All stations barring few achieved their targets while few had a phenomenal growth, APSTS GM Abu Tayeng informed and congratulated the officers & staffs for the achievement.

He assured a quantum jump in revenue collection with the full-fledged implementation of E-ticketing and other e-governance measures. Moreover, induction of 28 new buses are also in advance stage, he said.

Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, holding Finance portfolio, lauded the APSTS for enriching state coffer.  Anticipating further hike in revenue earning, he  assured all possible help to improve the essential public service.
