Outreach prog concludes

ITANAGAR | May 12 | A two-day outreach programme in Nari-Koyu assembly constituency under Lower Siang district, conducted by a team of Galo Students’ Union (GSU), Galo Youth Organization (GYO) and Galo Peoples Front (GPF) concludedtoday.
The  team visited major pockets including Nari, Koyu, Kora, Namey, Kadu, interacted  with the locals to assess various problems confronting them in the area,  popularly known as Ramle Banggo. They also inspected various projects and infrastructures and after close observation found that no new development projects have been initiated while existing infrastructure were initiated by  previous local representative, a GSU release claimed.
During visit to Telam GHS School, the need for major renovation before commencement of new academic session felt, BSNL mobile towers in Koyu & Kora circles should be erected urgently to boost connectivity while Nari-Kora NEC road via Lipin, lying defunct, should have been made an all weather road along with the GWS initiated Zirdo-Kadu road.
These were the outocme of a review meeting to find solutions to various problems faced by the locals, the release added.
