Peace march conducted to remember late Yame

NAHARLAGUN | Oct 02 | East Kameng district unit of Students United Movement of All Arunachal (SUMAA) took out a candle light peace rally on September 30 last in solidarity with the family of deceased student Toko Yame, who was found dead at Tawang.

Its president Silley Taniang Flago during a meeting with DC and SP informed about the concern of the district people and urged them to inform Tawang counterpart for proper investigation.

Flago also demanded capital punishment to the culprits without giving any communal colour as criminal do not belong to any caste and religion and should be punished as per law and prosecuted without any fear or favour. He also demanded CBI probe into the case. The marchers held two-minute silence to pray for the departed soul to rest in peace.
