JAMIN | Nov 27 | Curtains were drawn on maiden Kra Daadi district chess tournament concluded here today with distribution of prizes to the winners.
All Arunachal Pradesh Widow Welfare Association president Byabang Yaram, who give away the prizes as chief guest, sponsored by M/s Paking Paling Multipurpose Cooperative Society in Memory of late Byabang Tania, amounting to Rs.81,000 were involving cash and trophies and certificates.
Of the total 36 contenders, Tami Jetli emerged champion in open category to receive Rs. 25000 followed by Charu Taji (2nd) to walk away with Rs.15000 and Tassar Tamha (3rd) along with trophy and certificate each.
Dolang Kishan was adjudged as best veteran. Jikke Tape and Biri Bush as best under 17th and 11th year categories.
Kra Daadi district Chess Association president Tassar Mohan and other local officers were present.
