ITANAGAR | Jan 30 | Governor Brig. ( (Retd) B.D. Mishra today exhorted the students to carry forward the value-based education imparted by Narottam Nagar Ramakrishna Mission School in Tirap.
Addressing the students after distributing annual prizes, he advised them to do good for their fellow human beings and promote patriotism, national unity and integrity.
Impressed with the ‘Guru Shishya Parampara’ of the School, he lauded Ramakrishna Mission Order and hoped for better future of the students, being taught in traditional cultural environment.
His wife Neelam Misra felicitated Senwang Dada, class II, son of Ashok Chakra recipient havildar Hangpan Dada.
The duo gave away prizes and cash awards as scholarship to winners of various categories including Governor’s Award for aggregate highest marks in class-X to Ajo Linggi.
Belur-based Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission Math trustee Swami Sarvabhutananda Maharaj, after giving away the prizes for games and sports, called upon the students to be champions in every field. He lauded the governor for his goodwill for the school. (PRO)
