PASIGHAT | Feb 28 | Mebo Intellectual Forum (MIF) has lauded district police for cracking murder case of Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank Mebo branch cashier, who was found murdered in bank premises on February 7 evening.
MIF chief patron-cum-Adi Baane Kebang secretary general Bodong Yirang said that the people of Mebo, MIF in particular is happy with the arrest of murderers. The arrest has changed the non-conducive atmosphere created in the sub-division by the murder of Bomge Nyori.
The MIF, which has conducted candlelight march and mass rally seeking immediate arrest of the culprits, also appreciated SP Prashant Gautam, he said.
However, Yirang suggested to reward late Nyori in recognition of his sacrifice and dedication to duty.
Meanwhile, Mebo MLA-cum-advisor to CM Lombo Tayeng also conveyed his gratitude to the police led by Gautam for the success within 20 days.
