TRIHMS to offer free dialysis to poor

NAHARLAGUN | Apr 12 | A dialysis unit under PM National Dialysis Programme (PMNDP) was inaugurated in TRIHMS here on Wednesday by health and family welfare commissioner Kaling Tayeng to offer free services for kidney ailments to poor.

The state has received 5 of the 15 assured dialysis equipments, donated by Fairfax India Charitable Foundation in partnership with the GoI, NCD SNO Dr L. Jampa informed. It would be implemented in PPP-mode in collaboration with Kolkata-based service provider M/s Eskag Sanjeevani Pvt. Ltd, with which the GoAP has inked a MoU for extending services for five years.

Special secretary-cum- NHM mission director Dr Tapasya Raghav, senior HFW department officers, among others, were present.
