YUPIA, June 20: A day-long district measles-rubella case based surveillance transitioning workshop was conducted here today.
DMO Dr. Tasso Subu Kampu, in her presidential address, urged all participants to avail its benefits.
Family welfare deputy director Dr. Amping Perme highlighted about family planning, empanelment of gynaecologists with GoAP, RBSK performance, health management information system, DBT of incentives etc and stressed on streamlining performance. Stressing on timely updating of data, he urged all to provide the data on regular basis besides maintaining its quality to prevent any discrepancy.
WHO SMO Dr. Tage Taka and IDSP DSO Dr. R Ronya, as resource persons, spoke on MR update (global, regional, country, state, status & progress, measles-rubella/CRS disease, epidemiology, ongoing MR outbreak surveillance system & transitioning to case-based MR surveillance, role of MR laboratory, including demonstration of kits, MR surveillance system, sensitization, outbreak investigation process, group work on case investigation with MR/CIF, MR surveillance tools data management, MR surveillance data analysis & planning interventions as per the data etc.
DPM Dugyir Padu also spoke on Dulari Kanya and incentivisation of schemes.
Representatives from Heema, Niba & RKM Hospitals, MO in-charges, health Assistants and DHS staff were present. (DIPRO)
