AAPSA felicitates state teachers’ awardees

ITANAGAR, Sept 07:  All Arunachal Private Schools’ Association (AAPSA) felicitated two teachers who received state award at a function here on Thursday.

AAPSA president Techi James felicitated Smitha Saju of Good Shepherd Public School, Holy Cross HS School principal Sr. Shierly Chacko felicitated Yusihay Yobin of Donyi Polo Vidya Bhawan, according to an AAPSA release.

Saju, in reciprocation, said that the award came to her as a surprise and promised to work muchhe better for the welfare of children while Yobin thanked AAPSA for selecting him who belongs to such a small tribe to receive the award.

Quoting Governor BD Mishra – “Google will never replace the Guru”, Yobin reiterated the unique role every teacher will continue to play even in this era of IT booming.

James lauded the GoAP for recognizing private school teaches while AAPSA secretary Levi E. Katy recalled Education Minister and secretary decision to authorize AAPSA to nominate two teachers for the award.

AAPSA chief patron Fr. Cyriac called upon AAPSA to continue to work with greater dedication and determination.

Principals of some AAPSA schools finalized details of AAPSA-Sahodaya Talent Search 2018, scheduled to take place in Donyi Polo Vidya Bhawan during November 22 to 24 next.
