ITANAGAR, Oct 30: Governor Brig. (Retd) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) and Chief Minister Pema Khandu have greeted the people of Arunachal Pradesh on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day), which commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
As a tribute to Patel, the governor exhorted state people, particularly the young generation to develop fraternity, assuring the dignity of individual and unity and integrity of the nation.
“Let us pay our tribute to the Iron Man of India who worked hard to make India a united India (Ek Bharat) by playing most important role in integrating many princely states to make an Indian federation, the CM said in his message. (PROs)
