BOMDILA, Nov 10: Terming parents, teachers and students as three wheels of education, block education officer (BEO) PD Kharma has said that education can change our society.
Addressing parents-teachers meeting of local GHS School on Friday, he said that the students should not use mobile phones in the schools. Students using mobile phone for good purposes is not harmful or else it would reverse impact on them, he added.
All West Kameng Students’ Union vice president Dawa Tsering Shongmu advised the students to study in institution as well as in home, always respect teachers from your inner core of heart because teachers are next to god. He also advised to the students stay away from drugs.
CBSE in-charge AK Pandey, in his speech, said that students must have 80% attendance for appearing in board exam. The students should be transferred to schools within the catchment area of their residential area for convenience, which is the responsibility of their parents, he added.
GHSS principal idak Riba, economics PGT Zinda Zongluju and School management committee chairman Niri Chongroju also spoke.
