Apex Bank staff donate to CMRF

ITANAGAR, Dec 03:  All 368 employees of Arunachal Pradesh State Cooperative Apex Bank (APSCAB) donated their one day salary amounting to Rs. 1,37,822 to CM’s Relief Fund (CMRF) on Monday as a goodwill gesture.

An APSCAB delegation led by IPR etc Minister Bamang Felix called on Chief Minister Pema Khandu and handed over the cheque here on Monday.

While thanking the CM for sanctioning bank’s head office building at Naharlagun, APSCAB employees recalled the sick bank was revived during tenure of his father, late Dorjee Khandu while they are getting HO building during his tenure. Thus, the donation as a thanks giving gesture, they said.

Responding their plea to park GoAP funds meant for development, salary and students stipend in their bank for it to improve business, Khandu assured to look into in mater in future. (CMO)
