ITANAGAR, Jan 10: The Sarkar aapke dwar (SAP), jan sunwai sammelan (JSS) and Arunachal Rising Campaign (ARC) continued across the state to ensure the desired beneficiaries get the benefits at their door steps.
The 21st round of SAD- JSS was conducted at Thonglek village under Lungla sub-division, of Tawang district on Thursdasy which covered Kudung, Pamakhar, Sakpret, Thonglek, Sagkyur and adjoining villages.
Tawang DC Sang Phuntsok inaugurated the camp, in which 7 new gas connections under Pradhan Mantriujjwala yojana were distributed, ST and birth certificate to a 91-year-old woman Tsering Buti of Kudung village was issued, later she was enrolled for ADHAAR registration to get old age pension; two succession certificates, 24 marriage registration, 62 beneficiary under CMAAY, 16 under NOAP, three under national widow pension, one under PMMVY, around 107 ST, 103 PRC and more than 100 patients benefitted from the health department.
The DC inspected under construction shrine in Thonglek village, being built to commemorate stay of HH the 14th Dalai Lama’s in this village on the night of 04.04.1959.
Such event was conducted today at Mirem village under Ruksin block and East Siang ADC Tatdo Borang, in his inaugural address, hoped that the event would serve channel of communication between Govt and public to benefit of the masses.
Borang along with SAD nodal officer SK Sharma (DPO), CO Oni Padun, HODs and GBs visited all stalls and interacted with the officers/officials on duty and advised the villagers to take optimum benefits of government schemes.
In all 35 departments facilitated issue of caste and income certificates, power saving electrical items by APEDA, driving licence and registration & transfer of ownership of vehicles, CMAAY, enrollment of Aadhaar and ration cards, old age pension scheme and opening of bank accounts, new LPG, water and electricity connections, demonstration of EVMs with VVPAT, awareness on food and civil supply, agriculture, horticulture and veterinary beneficial schemes, sensitization on activities of rural, social welfare, education and health and family welfare schemes besides other services.
