AALO, Feb 08: West Siang unit of Arunachal Pradesh Women Welfare Society (APWWS) led by its president Marbom Bagra felicitated Hoksum Ori on her induction as member of Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women here on Thursday.
Reciprocating the gesture, Ori lauded district women for entrusting her with responsible posts that brought recognition for the Govt to take the decision. She exhorted her successors to strive hard for the cause of women and assured support on issues which need her attention. Above 600 cases are pending in the Commission, many cases have been heard after their induction and present team has decided take up with GoAP on all grey areas for effective functioning
Ori was secretary of APWWS and West Siang Cooperative Weavers & Hanloom Society besides other posts.
Besides Bagra, advisor Yaken Doji Ete, Mothers’ Vision chairman Jumde Yomgam Gamlin, Ige Jini, Gerik Kamchi, EE(E) Yater Padu Doji, DDI Marme Kato Loya, among a host of women, spoke and expressed pleasure with her induction into the Commission. (DIPRO)
