Arunachal youths avail Startup India prog

PASIGHAT, Feb 11:  Arunachal Pradesh Startup Yatra by enthusiastic Jawaharlal Nehru College students was launched in college campus here on Monday under Startup India aimed at catalyzing entrepreneurial talent in small Indian cities and enrich ecosystem of our country, said Startup India’s Guneet Malik from New Delhi.

Arunachal edition of the event will be conducted in six cities with day-long boot camps to identify potential entrepreneurs, who will be offered a day-long mentorship and training by industry experts to prepare them for grand finale at Itanagar during February 14-15.

The boot camps will include workshops by experts including Logical Indian founder Abhishek Mazumdar and Cafe Chu founder Chum Darang to disseminate crucial information about Startup India schemes and facilitate participants to evolve ideas with the help of stakeholders, like incubators, investors and mentors.

The most promising pitches at the Grand Finale will be incubated at renowned institutions to accelerate their idea into an enterprise, added the team Startup India.

While Lok Sabha member Ninong Ering, who along with CM Pema Khandu helped Startup India team to reach out to state’s youths to find entrepreneurship avenues to solve growing unemployment, said all youths desirous of  excelling in life should take advantage of the initiative of  Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
