ITANAGAR, Feb 11: State ruling party BJP today observed Samarpan Diwas in its office here on Monday with various activities to remind party cadres about their responsibility to work selflessly for the cause of nation.
The day is observed to remember Jan Sangh founder Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay on his death anniversary.
All should shoulder his/her responsibility for nation building, president Tapir Gao told the gathering, including lawmakers and asked all party workers to follow the ideology of Antodaya and Manavaat Ekatma to uplift the society. Though, taking care of family is first responsibility that should be followed by welfare of the society, he added.
Earlier, the gathering paid floral tributes to Pt. Upadhya, according to a BJP release.
