SBI asked to offer basic services

AALO, Feb 13:  The Galo Students Union has urged local SBI chief manager to improve basic facilities, like availability of account opening forms, restore passbook update machine, start ATM booths in different places of this township, deploy customer friendly staffs which have been lacking for last many years.

The GSU will conduct a public survey and launch a democratic movement if basic services are not improved.

The 14th edition of Sarkar Aapke Dwaar, conducted at Kugi Pomte lower primary school on Tuesday, was inaugurated by DC-incharge N. Wangjen, to benefit the people of Darak circle.

Meanwhile,  an election training for presiding officers, polling officers and all government officials and staff was conducted at Rumgong, Siang district and imparted by district level master trainers T. K.  Kopak and Dr. Karik Mize. Hands on training on EVM/VVPAT was given to all 183 participants. (DIPRO)
