Scheme on climate change vulnerability | NSCCC nods for Papum Poma River

ITANAGAR, Feb 13: The National Steering Committee on Climate Change (NSCCC) in 14th meeting in New Delhi on February 7 last has approved proposed Rs. 24.70 crore scheme for addressing climate change vulnerability of Papum-Poma River for 3 years.

State PCCF (Env & CC) A. K. Shukla and Dy. Director-cum-project coordinator D.Dohu Robin along with other state representatives had attended the meeting, chaired by NSCCC Chairman C. K Mishra. Shukla and Robin had highlighted their department’s field activities on climate change including awareness before giving the proposal.
