ITANAGAR, July 11: Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs and UD Minister Kamlung Mosang, who called on Governor Brig. (Retd) B.D. Mishra at Raj Bhavan here on Thursday, briefed him about challenges and problems of people living in Vijoynagar, remotest circle of the state, in Changlang district.
While expressing his concerns, Dr Mishra advised him to make essential commodities ensure available and to accelerate Miao-Vijoynagar Road work to ensure early road connectivity as the CO HQs remains cut-off throughout the CO HQs the year for which he desired to chair a meeting on this issue on July 15 next.
Advising Mosang for steps for the people benefits of developmental initiatives, he said that those living in remotest constituency should be brought within development map and asked him to ensure that textbooks and uniforms should reach the deserving students.
Dr Mishra also spoke to Changlang DC RK Sharma and BRO’s Project Udayak CE Shri Jitendra Prasad on alternative road alignment to Vijoynagar and asked them to expedite the process. (PRO)
