AALO, Aug 08: Jarbom Gamlin Indoor Stadium here will host two-day District Badminton Championship-2019, themed ‘discipline, duty and sportsmanship spirit through badminton, from August 17 next open for only West Siang and Shi Yomi districts.
The itinerary for the championship, like U-9 yrs-boys & girls, U-11 yrs-boys & girls, U-13 yrs-boys & girls, U-15 yrs- boys & girls, U-17 yrs- boys & girls, U-19 yrs- boys & girls and open category-men & women – mixed doubles (single & double in all categories) was finalized under chairmanship of Dr. K. Rina at BN Club here. U-9-13 years category will get free entry and rest categories will have fees for the winners to receive certificate, medal and cash award each.
Players for ensuing Dorjee Khandu Badminton Championship will be selected from the participants by a selection committee of West Siang District Badminton Association. (DIPRO)
