Tok replaced Tuki as ACA president

ITANAGAR, Sept 29: Arunachal Cricket Association (ACA), in its annual general body meeting here on Sunday, appointed  T C Tok, Nabam Vivek, Kabak Geda, T Tagar and Yab Lala as its president, vice president, secretary, joint secretary and treasurer of the ACA respectively.

Former chief secretary Ramesh Negi acted as electoral officer as appointed by Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI). Holding election was as per direction of Supreme Court appointed committee of administrator (CoA) for cricket in India and its results were announced by Ramesh Negi.

ACA former president Nabam Tuki and representatives of all affiliated district cricket associations were present. However, Tuki was appointed as ACA chief patron, according to an ACA release.

AONS adds: With Arunachal Pradesh sports persons winning regional, national and global laurels in different games and sports, particularly karate, weightlifting, judo etc, observer feel that the ACA should take steps for state cricketers to make their presence felt in national scenario.
