BTSM burns Jinping’s effigy, calls to boycott Chinese goods

BOMDILA, Jun 30: Bomdila unit Bharat Tibet Shayog Manch (BTSM) burnt effigy of Chinese president Xi Jinping while staging protest against China for killing 20 brave Indian soldiers during India-China armies’ face-off in eastern Ladakh recently.

The BTSM executive members exhorted all sections of society to boycott all Chinese products and use only Indian made. Such a move would promote local products in place of Chinese one. It is time to say not Chinese goods as the neighbouring nation has threatened the sovereignty of India, they added.Shouting slogans against Chinese Army, a procession was taken out covering the main thoroughfare of this township, which was organized by BTMS in collaboration with Pedung Youth Association and Taxi Union.

“Arunachalees are most patriotic people who greet each other with Jai Hind,” Arunachal Pradesh unit BTMS joint secretary Lobsang Genchen said, adding their patriotic spirit is unquestioned as they always maintain bonhomie with army personnel, who guard the frontier with devotion to out motherland.
