Arunachal COVID tally rose to 1673

NAHARLAGUN, Aug 01: Arunachal Pradesh COVID-19 positive tally surged to 1,673 with 83 fresh cases reported Friday – ICR (38); Changlang-1 (detected from Kharsang tested by RDT-Ag); East Siang-10 (7 HCWs, 2 truck driver and handyman detected at check gate, 1 returnee from Namsai district tested by RDT-Ag); Longding- 1 (returnee from Assam detected by RDT-Ag in QF); Lower Sing-4 (3 shopkeepers & 1 CPMF person tested by RDT-Ag); Lower Siang-3 (2 CPMF personnel & 1 returnee from Longding district tested by RDTAg); Namsai-2 (1 businessman detected at check gate & 1 primary contact of positive case detected earlier tested by RDT-Ag); Shi-Yomi-2 (returnees from Assam detected by RDT-Ag in QF); Tirap-8 (6 CPMF personnel, 1 bakery man & 1 truck driver tested by RDT-Ag); upper Siang-4  (All CPMF personnel returnees from Assam detected by RDT-Ag in QF); West Kameng-7(All truck drivers detected by RDT-Ag at check gate) and Tawang- 3 (1 returnee from Itanagar, 1 primary contact of positive case detected earlier& 1 CPMF person tested by RDT-Ag), state surveillance officer Dr L Jampa said, adding 701 positive cases, 969 recoveries and 3 have died so far.
