ITANAGAR, Aug 01: Governor Brig. (Retd) B.D. Mishra and Chief Minister Pema Khandu shared ideas to mitigate challenges of COVID-19 pandemic causing devastating effects on the socio-economic front and measures to boost the economy at Raj Bhavan here on Saturday.
They discussed necessary steps to address damages caused by recent floods and landslides in different locations when Dr Mishra advocated that road communication and vital infrastructure should be in place for welfare of the people.
The governor also lauded state cabinet for approving cluster farming and nutritional kitchen garden schemes to end dependence on outside for vegetables and livestock.
