AALO, Aug 01: One Kenbom Dirchi, prime accused in murder of a six-year-old boy, was convicted by Lepparada district and session court judge and sentenced him to undergo imprisonment for life with a fine of Rs. 3000 for committing offence u/s 302 IPC.
The convict was also sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for 10 years u/s 364 IPC and a fine of Rs.2000.
This correction to news item that was wrongly flashed in Arunachal Times and other dailies of 1st August issue that created confusion, shock, anger and panic among the family members and relatives of the murdered minor. (DIPRO)
