Itanagar, Oct 28: Health Minister Ao Libang along with his newly appointed advisor Goruk Pordung on Wednesday interacted with District Medical Officers (DMOs) of all districts of state through video conferencing and discussed Covid management activities and various issues related to health sector.
Interacting with the DMOs, the Minister said, “the rate of infection in the state has not yet minimized. We have to take care of ourselves and the family members, and our neighbours. The awareness programme needs to continue so that the denizens continue to wear face mask and maintain social distancing to stay safe from the infection.”
Citing on-going festive season, Libang further said, “We need to care for our near and dear ones.”
Earlier, a team led by the Minister and Health Secretary P Parthiban, Director Health Services (DHS) Dr M Lego welcomed Pordung to DHS conference hall on his maiden visit as advisor in department.
