NAHARLAGUN, Nov 24: Three former IMC councilors including former deputy chief councilor Tarh Nachung along with their supporters and well-wishers and aspiring candidates accompanied joined ruling BJP in a functioning here on Tuesday.
Councilor Taba Takia, aspirants Hari Yaying, Rido Ania Rechi were welcomed to the saffron brigade by Capital district BJP president Tarh Soping.
“I have been in the capital for more than 35 years and have been associated with several organizations to take up various social welfare activities,” Naching said, adding that he was with the JDU but decided to join the BJP after witnessing laudable activities of present Govt led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu.
The JDU having alliance with ruling BJP would make difference but the BJP with its principles and discipline would give more scope to serve Capital Complex public, Nachung added.
