RGU mourns former Chancellor’s demise

RONO HILLS, Jan 21: Rajiv Gandhi University fraternity led by, vice chancellor Prof. Saket Kushwaha on Thursday mourned demise of former state governor-cm-chancellor of erstwhile Arunachal University Mata Prasad.

Terming him as a humble and down to earth person with a zeal to improve state’s education, he had envisioned to make Arunachal University a world class varsity with academic excellence. He was instrumental in introducing Hindi department in varsity.

This was the univocal opinion of a condolence meeting by all faculty members, directors, HoDs and officials observed two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul. (PRO)
