KIMIN, Feb 22: Rajya Sabha MP Nabam Rebia on Monday exhorted the people to protect important projects of state importance being created by the government.
Dedicating two projects, the newly constructed RCC building campus of Kimin Community Health Centre (CHC) and solar powered geo-thermal based heating and cooling system here; the MP lauded the Science and Technology department for creating such assets.
The CHC constructed at an estimated cost of two crore under SIDF has been executed by Doimukh PWD division, has space for several facility for the patients.
The solar powered geo-thermal based heating and cooling system has been funded by Science & Technology department at an estimated cost of Rs 70 Lakh and implemented by Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Science & Technology (APSCS&T) with technological support by The Energy Research Institute (TERI) New Delhi.
Rebia said, the newly constructed CHC would cater to the needs of hundreds of people.
He urged upon the officials to work in team spirit so that schemes are implemented practically and used for the service of the people.
“I am always ready to serve the people and keen to associate myself in state’s development for which I am puttingmy sincere efforts and cooperation,” Rebia said.
Responding to the memorandum submitted by health department, Rebia assured that he would request the state health minister to process for construction of residential accommodation of medical staffs at Kimin and further assured to provide a transformer to the CHC.
Addressing the function, Kimin ZPM Bamang Yayu said that the under construction DBT centre if completed, would be of great help the people.
Papum Pare DC Pige Ligu and APSCS&T Chairman Bamang Mangha were also present on the occasion among others.
