APCA resolve to work for people’s welfare

ITANAGAR, Nov 28: The Arunachal Pradesh Catholic association (APCA) on Sunday reiterated its resolve to work for the welfare of the Christian community for peace, prosperity and all round development of state.

Addressing the concluding function of the three-day fourth general conference of the association here at Pastoral Church, APCA President Taw Tebin said that the conference discussed several issues confronting the Christian community and several resolution have been adopted in due consultation with the invitees and 400 delegates from all over the state.

Several activities were held in last three days including literary activities, cultural activities, teaching of catholic values and elections of new executive body, Tebin said.

“We have to work in close coordination with all religious, social and political organisations for all round development of the state. We have to take care of the welfare of the people,” he added.

Tebin further disclosed that the APCA is in the forefront every time even during the Covid-19 pandemic and any natural calamities to help people.

Several education institutions and other institution are being run by the Christen missionaries who are imparting quality education and human resource development in the state, he said.

Tebin appealed the people to coordinate each other and join hands for a better state.
