Tuki mourns death

ITANAGAR, Dec 28: Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President Nabam Tuki on Tuesday mourned the sudden demise of Yanium Ebiya, former President of Block Mahila Congress Committee of Nacho block in Upper Subansiri district who breathed her last on Monday at TRIHMS after a prolonged illness.

“Late Ebiya was a discipline, hard working and committed party worker of Indian National Congress and served as first President of Block Mahila Congress Committee of 22-Nacho Block from 1989 to 1994. Her dedicated service and commitment towards Indian National Congress was immeasurable,” Tuki said in his condolence message.

“Her devoted service for the welfare of the people and strong determination to strengthen the Congress organization will always be remembered,” he said adding, words are of little consolation at this time of grief.

“I on my own behalf and on behalf of Indian National Congress in the state, convey its deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and loved ones and pray to Almighty to give them comfort and strength to bear the irreparable loss cause to them. May her great soul rest in eternal peace,” Tuki added.
