ITANAGAR, Nov 24: The Confederation of Service Associations of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP) Thursday appealed to the state government to expedite the recruitment process of lateral entry of state civil service entry grade officers at the earliest.
Speaking to media persons at Press club here, CoSAAP President Likha Techi said that state government on December 5, 2018, advertised for the recruitment of lateral entry APCS Entry Grade (EG). However, the process was halted for the reason best known to the authorities.
Even after the passing of four years of the advertisement, the concerned department has not yet finalized the list of eligible candidates, he added.
Pointing out that the inordinate delay in the conduction of the said interview had hampered the developmental activities in the state; the Confederation said that the newly created districts are facing problems in terms of smooth functioning at the circle administration level, due to absence of officers.
The CoSAAP also demanded for strict implementation of the cabinet’s decision to cancel all the officiating/functional appointments on ‘out of turn’ basis and the lower level functionaries to be reverted from higher level posts to the original substantive posts.
It further reiterated its earlier demand for scrapping of the National Pension Scheme (NPS) and to restore the old pension scheme.
