PASIGHAT, Mar 30: Weeklong 150th Annual Training Camp (ATC) concluded with a positive note at the Niglok Sainik School.
The ATC and a certification training (CT) for 113 cadets of Class IX and X of the school was conducted by 22 AP Battalion NCC Pasighat from March 22 to 29.
Brigadier PM Bali, Group Commander NCC NER Shillong inspected and addressed the cadets on the inaugural day and motivated them to join defence services including para military forces stating that it would be a noble service to the motherland.
The school cadets enthusiastically had also exchanged their views with the visiting Brigadier and other officers during the training period.
Gracing the valedictory function on Wednesday, Pasighat West MLA Ninong Ering interacted with the cadets and appreciated them for their smart military bearing. He also appreciated
CO NCC Lt Col MS Nijjar and his team, Sainik School Principal Commander Praveen Kumar Pola, CTOs, JCO and NCOs for conducting the training a successful event and expressed hope that the cadets were benefited a lot from the training.
The very impressed MLA assured the principal that he would extend all possible support and cooperation to the school in making it stronger and vibrant. (DIPRO)
